Glossary

• Web: A self-contained knowledge dataset: nodes, links, trails, and settings.
• Node: A person, place, event, object, or concept.
• Link: A directed relationship between nodes with an optional description and time.
• Plex / connectome: The graph view of nodes and links.
• Preview: Temporary focus, usually via hover, does not change URL or commit selection.
• Commit: Confirmed navigation, usually via click, updates URL and selection.
• Trail: Recent navigation steps, shown as breadcrumbs.
• Journey / mystery tour: A saved trail that can be replayed.
• Spheres: A time construct: century layers (plus gateway layer) used for time navigation.
